To assist HR Manager to integrate HRM strategies into corporate strategies to deliver organizational value.
Focus on the formulation of policies and strategies to align with the business goals and objectives, pre-selection and recruitment, induction and on-boarding, workforce management, training development, expatriate management, talent development, and compliance with statutory requirements.
- Assist with the implementation and maintaining of HR initiatives, systems and policies that are aligned with the business goals and objectives
- Understand the requirement of vacancies, and if necessary draft a job description and getting it approved by the business unit head
- To recruit suitable graduates from various universities or polytechnics for fast track program or internship e.g. polytechnics, universities and ITE etc.
- Prepare Employee’s Letter of Offer &/or Contract of Employment for new hires and contractors
- Organize and conduct employee orientation in accordance with the checklist for induction program and workplace health and safety and IT familiarization for new joiner
- Introduce new joiners to the company and other associated group of companies
- Upload new hire’s profile, including expatriates, into InForum website
- Organize Infoware training for new joiners within the first three weeks of service
- Update the competency matrix for all personnel for all associated companies
- Assist with the enrolment and cancellation of the medical benefits for joiners and leavers with insurance, and preparing the yearly computation of the insurance covers for the group of companies
- Updating of employee’s personal data and track leave entitlement and long service award
- To analyze training needs in conjunction with department heads.
- Process Payroll for the group of companies, and to send for approval to the respective managers and senior management for review and approval.
- Process of CPF and IRAS submission and other statutory requirements etc. for all staff
- Liaise with various training providers to organize internal or external training for employees.
- Update employee’s training plan, training records and monitor post training evaluation.
- Prepare promotion, salary increment, confirmation memo etc. for staff
- Handling of staff grievances and issues at work, and handle request and enquiries from line managers and management
- Perform any other duties or projects as requested by the superior.
- Other duties and responsibilities documented in the QEHS Procedure and QEHS Manuals.
