Job Description
The Sales & Events Executive - Singapore is responsible for meeting and exceeding the revenue targets, particularly focused on event, program and membership revenue targets, developing pricing strategies and forecasting revenue for Genius Central Singapore, but not limited to only this.
This key role shall focus heavily on Genius Central Event & Meeting Spaces as well as Event Sales (both internal and external events), Partnerships Sales, Membership, Future Reservations (OTB) & Community Building.
The Sales Executive shall work closely with the GM in areas of promotion, sales, events, membership & business development.
The role is also responsible for maximising occupancy of MICE (events, conferences and banquettes etc.) and Corporate events and catering channels in order to optimise business opportunities.
**General**:
Ø Focus on attracting new business and engaging with our growing community. Create and lead all event and program promotional campaigns.
Ø Build relationships with our partners and members and grow the membership community at the location.
Ø Promote daily and weekly specials to generate incremental revenue and oversee key monthly and quarterly events in conjunction with Genius Group and based on the UN Sustainable Goals.
Ø Prepare a quarterly promotional plan with a primary campaign each month. Plans will be presented to the Global team for feedback and review of previous Quarter Promotions Success.
Ø Manage all events, sales, partnerships and membership activities for Genius Central in line with the business plan and forecasts and manage the Singapore event budget.
Ø Focus on interacting with customers, especially our members to make them feel welcome as well as to gain their valuable feedback on events, membership, food and drink; finding out what they would like more of and what we can improve on in the future.
Ø Meet with the Marketing and Operations teams on a weekly basis and conduct small group training sessions on production knowledge and up selling techniques.
**Communications**:
Ø Be fully conversant with the Genius Central brand, its standards and its DNA (visual and written communication, service standards, social promise etc.)
Ø Lead all marketing/promotional/sales collateral development/production; both online across social media channels and offline marketing materials for events, programs and partnerships.
Ø Create and lead a fully-integrated communications calendar around events, daily, weekly and monthly activities, public holidays, major monthly events and all social media channels.
Ø Liaise with the Genius Group and Entrepreneur Resorts digital marketing team to maximise communications exposure, with a particular focus for online and social engagement.
Ø Identify ways to maximise revenue opportunities through partnership and sponsorship deals for local education/sport/cultural/art/social awareness events that are aligned with our culture and DNA.
Ø Prepare all landing page copies for event, program and partnership campaigns and implement activity blasts on a weekly basis in conjunction with the Genius Group and Entrepreneur Resorts communications teams.
