**Business Development Director
SCG Cell Therapy Pte Ltd is a clinical-stage biotechnology company focusing on the development of novel immunotherapies for patients with pathogenic infections and it associated cancers. Our strategy is to harness patient's immune system by redirecting cellular responses toward pathogens and its associated cancer using adoptive cell therapy, bispecific antibodies and vaccines.

**Key responsibilities**
- Proactively identify and lead strategic partnership or collaborative research and/or in-licensing/out-licensing opportunities with biotech and pharmaceutical companies.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key internal stakeholders, potential collaboration partners, and other high value business relationships in line with the company’s vision, strategy, and long-term plans.
- Hold responsibility for driving the company’s strategic BD & growth plans.
- Stay up to date with competitive intelligence, keeping abreast of research and development in this field.
- Accountable for development of a comprehensive and timely due diligence package to include a full assessment (scientific evaluation, regulatory, CMC, manufacturing, clinical development, financial, competitive landscape) of external opportunities, and make recommendations for approval.
- Develop, participate in, and deliver succinct, high-level and impactful presentations to key prospects and stakeholders.
- Stay up to date with prospective partnering opportunities
- Deeply understand and fluidly present the company’s corporate messaging, platform, R&D programs, technological approach, and vision.

**Requirements**:

- Master’s degree as preferred qualification with extensive experience in negotiation, valuation, corporate finance, and deal structuring.
- At least 15+ years of business development experience
- Proven ability to engage directly with biopharma partners and identify opportunities to advance their research and business-related strategies
- Hold a track record for being a part of mission-driven businesses
- Experience leading cross-functional business development diligence and deal teams, including in areas outside of technical expertise
- Expert executive communication skills; highly capable of articulating SCG’s value proposition and partnering interests to varied audiences
- Excellent analytical and strategic capabilities
