An exciting opportunity has come up for a role as** Assistant Manager, CSR & Communications **in the Corporate Affairs team with us Reporting to the Public Affairs Manager, he/she will lead the sustainability agenda at APBS and is the custodian for the “Brew a Better World” (BaBW) corporate sustainability strategy. It is an essential role to create visibility to advance the positive reputation of APBS by demonstrating and anchoring the company as a leader in environmental sustainability and corporate social responsibility through building relationships with internal and external stakeholders e.g. local communities, NGOs, Government agencies and employees.

The incumbent is responsible to drive and lead suitable programmes to enhance employee awareness and employee engagement in BaBW and its priorities. In this regard, he/she will lead community investment and corporate philanthropy initiatives, drive and mobilise employee participation (and where appropriate involve relevant external stakeholders) to demonstrate that APB cares for the community, is a water steward and leader in championing alcohol responsibility in Singapore.

As the company’s ‘Sustainability & Responsibility Coordinator’, the incumbent oversees and works closely with Supply Chain team to drive timely and accurate reporting of the company’s sustainability performance into the BaBW dashboard, a corporate on-line tracker on BaBW performance indicators, across all business functions.

The S&R Asst Manager will also work closely with the CA Communications team to create and drive content on environmental and social sustainability across both internal and external APBS communication platforms e.g. Workplace, LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram

**Major Roles and Responsibilities**:
**1. Embedding sustainability (BaBW) within APBS and sustainability reporting**
- Co-ordinate data collection by internal stakeholders to facilitate timely quarterly and annual sustainability reporting;
- Be the ‘S&R’ specialist and is the key liaison to Regional and Global CR regarding important ‘EverGreen’ and BaBW developments;
- Is responsible for the scoping of contents, proof-reading, editing and writing of APBS’ sustainability & responsibility communications, as well as, co-ordinates external sustainability brewery tours (if required)
- Develop the strategy to embed BaBW at APBS, plan and execute creative programming/initiatives, including an effective internal/external communications plan, to raise awareness about and engage APB employees (an at times, involving externals stakeholders) on BaBW and the company’s sustainability and responsibility priorities;
- Assist the Corporate Affairs Director to manage and coordinate APB Foundation’s funding and sponsorship of sustainability and social responsibility initiatives by Foundation’s beneficiaries
- Liaise and manage timely deliverables by vendors;

**2. Stakeholder cultivation, engagement and partnerships**
- Good understanding of social issues that are related to the alcohol industry and key concerns of the authorities and local communities, e.g. binge drinking among young adults, drink-driving, water conservation;
- Engage with key external stakeholders to educate and promote APBS’ profile as an industry leader in S&R that is willing to invest in and build/support local communities and environmental causes and is a strong advocate of responsible consumption.
- Monitor the evolution of relevant social issues and to provide counsel on mitigation steps to position APBS as a good corporate citizen and a legitimate stakeholder in Singapore’s socio-economic environment;
- Track industry best practices to ensure consistent benchmarking and improvements;
- Proactive project proposal, development, management and execution to continually advance CSR at APBS.

**3. Communication and event management**
- Develop communications plans and materials for the BaBW and EverGreen S&R agenda;
- Pitch relevant stories about APBS’ S&R activities to the media to enhance the company’s positive reputation;
- Draft replies for media/public queries related to the S&R agenda for management’s approval and external dissemination;
- Support media monitoring of news coverage;
- Support internal communications with timely updates
