**The role**

We are looking for a Finance and Administrative Manager who will be responsible for the improvement of financial performance and business strategy of the company. The individual will be responsible to assist senior management on their business decision making by carrying out day-to-day financial activities and reporting as required by the managements. You will also convey Japan Post’s requirements etc. to the senior management of Toll by acting as a liaison between Toll and Japan Post.

As a Finance and Administrative Manager, you will:

- Convey business policy, strategy, requirement, and instruction given by Japan Post, a 100% shareholder of Toll, to Toll senior management and support vital communication between Japan Post and Toll
- Support planning the group strategy, such as corporate restructuring, cost control, tax management, cash management, etc., while considering the interests of the shareholder
- Support executing and performing and to monitor the progress of the planned group strategy
- Report financial performance/profitable information for the shareholder to conduct the important business judgement by grasping and analyzing the progress of Toll group’s financial initiatives
- Perform day-to-day accounting and financial activities for the company
- Develop the overall corporate financial targets and standards by establishing organizational objectives, policies, and programs
- Evaluate the existing accounting system and recommend improvements if required
- Work closely and transparently with all external partners, including third-party vendors and consultant
- Set budgetary controls and oversee the preparation of consolidated budgets, reports, and forecasts and present them with recommendations to the board
- Provide financial assessments and information to local and global management to establish new business and expansion programs
- Authorise funds to implement new policies, programs, and business strategies
- Prepare proposals and initiatives to support business expansion and new business ventures
- Monitor market trends for market development and expansion activities
- Liaise with industry associations, government representatives, and related entities within the Japan Post group

**Qualifications**:
**About you**

To be successful in this role, you will need:

- Relevant bachelor degree or equivalent employment experience
- Extensive managerial training at senior leadership level
- Native level of Japanese language skill (written and oral)
- Experience of working closely with subsidiary management related members at Japanese company
- Knowledge of Australian, Singaporean and Japanese Standards
- Experience of analysing and appraising financial reports
- Working experience in logistics/transport industry
