Singapore Singapore Drama Educators Association Full time

The Administration and Finance Manager will work closely with the General Manager to oversee the administrative and finance-related operations of Singapore Drama Educators Association (SDEA). This is a leadership position, and ideal for someone with administrative and finance experience at a managerial level.

**Roles and Responsibilities**
- Together with the General Manager and the Secretariat, refine and implement sound administrative and finance processes for the betterment of SDEA’s daily operations.
- Together with the Secretariat, implement policies laid down by the SDEA Committee and translating them into operational plans pertaining to the administrative and financial operations of SDEA.
- Keep a close and constant eye on the administrative and financial state of SDEA, and present to the Committee the relevant budgets, statements, accounts and reports showing the progress and performance of SDEA.
- Oversee the handling of SDEA’s funds and company budgets; and review SDEA’s books and financial statements, and engage financial advisers to advise where necessary.
- Propose and implement changes in SDEA’s administrative structure and in the allocation of the responsibilities that may be required to provide for improvements in the administrative and finance processes of SDEA.
- Oversee fund-raising strategies and programmes for SDEA; working closely with the Secretariat to carry out these strategies and programmes.
- Oversee employment practices and recruitment within SDEA, to ensure compliance with applicable employment laws.
- Manage the basic human resource processes in SDEA.
- Maintain and develop good relations with the governmental agencies, foundations, landlords, sponsors, partners and associate artists.
- Manage, propose and implement good practices and processes for the handling of SDEA data assets.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a managerial role.
- Proficiency in grants management, fundraising, proposal writing and events management.
- A highly self-aware, motivated individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a good command of English.
- A strong interest and passion in the arts.
- Local / Permanent Resident

This is a full-time position, permanent position.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $3,000.00 - $3,500.00 per month
