**General Description**:
We are looking for an experienced Research Analyst to generate ESG-related research, thought leadership pieces, investment strategies and actionable ideas in the form of stock-specific, thematic and/or strategy research reports. The Analyst will also play a key role in ESG-related strategic initiatives in Bank of Singapore’s Chief Investment Office (CIO) and ESG-related collaboration projects across Bank of Singapore / OCBC Group.

**Main Duties**:

- Generate ESG-related research, thought leadership and strategy pieces, as well as actionable ideas in the form of thematic and strategy research reports
- Actively contribute to the investment processes of both the Investment Strategy and Equity research teams and collaborate actively with team members in production of reports
- Conduct fundamental research analysis on relevant equity sectors and potentially pick up stock coverage to derive investment recommendations
- Provide guidance and advice within CIO as well as to Front Office colleagues across Bank of Singapore on investment-related ESG matters
- Communicate ESG and investment views in Bank of Singapore client events and media and also participate in client meetings
- To support ESG-related strategic initiatives in CIO and ESG-related collaboration efforts across Bank of Singapore / OCBC Group
- To improve ESG-related capabilities across the research teams
- Prepare investment communications materials
- Any other duties as designated

**Qualifications**

**Work Experience Requirements**:

- At least 8 years of relevant experience of institutional portfolio management/research experience at sell-side or buy-side houses, with at least 3 years in a ESG-research/portfolio management capacity.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Ability to perform in a high-impact performance driven environment and deliver results.

**Education Requirements**:

- Degree in Finance or Economics. CFA, CAIA preferred.
- Familiarity with financial software such as Bloomberg
- Proficiency in Mandarin and other languages will be advantageous
