**Your Team Responsibilities**:
MSCI ESG Research LLC., part of MSCI Inc, is looking for 6-month internship applicants in Singapore to help with the expanding ESG business and research demands in Greater China market. This role allows you to participate in the incorporation of sustainability themes into investment research, especially for the rapidly growing Chinese market.
- Global ESG & Climate regulatory trends
- Sector or industry-level ESG & Climate trends
- Greater China ESG & Climate trends

**Your Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide research support to senior analysts. Some examples are:

- Assist ESG ratings model review
- Prepared materials that tailored for local audiences (English/Chinese translations needed)
- Present research findings to the relevant internal/external stakeholders

**Your skills and experience that will help you excel**:

- Fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese
- Must be able to commit to a minimum of 3 days per week.
- Advanced degree in economics or sustainability-related field (masters or PhD) is preferred but not required;
- Strong background in data science and modeling are preferred but not required;
- Previous internship experience in the sustainability field is preferred but not required. E.g.:

- Experience in sustainability/ESG Research or corporate social responsibility, or
- Relevant financial services experience that includes exposure to ESG investment, or
- Relevant public policy or academic or NGO experience
