[What the role is]

The Head will lead a strategic unit / department and oversee the following areas of work:

- Oversight of asatizah development and religious sector initiatives;
- Facilitation of the review of asatizah development and sector policies;
- Management of research projects on asatizah development and sector;
- Analysis of asatizah and sector data and information; and
- Management of the Strategic Unit / Department administration.

[What you will be working on]

Oversight of asatizah development and religious sector initiatives
- Develop and periodically update the asatizah development and religious sector ecosystem map / schema to ensure alignment of initiatives and projects to long-term goals and outcomes.

Facilitation of the review of asatizah development and sector policies
- Facilitate the process of policy reviews amongst the different initiatives and projects on asatizah and sector development

Management of research projects on asatizah development and sector
- Drive qualitative and quantitative research projects, studies and surveys to support policy making and operations

Analysis of asatizah and sector data and information
- Oversee the analysis and reporting of asatizah / sector data to support policy making

Management of the Strategic Unit / Department administration
- Oversee the preparation of information for management reporting;
- Oversee the funding and resource needs of the strategic unit / department; and
- Develop staff and continually improve unit / department processes.

[What we are looking for]
- Tertiary education in a ny discipline, preferably in Social Sciences
- At least 3 years’ experience in heading a department
- Strong background of at least 3-5 years’ experience in policy making, research and data analysis
- Strong interest in Talent / Asatizah Development and the Socio-Religious sector
- Strong project management skills
- Dynamic Team Leader with excellent communication & interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical & problem-solving skills
