[What the role is]

The person will lead a strategic unit and oversee the following areas of work:
1. Sector Manpower Planning & Research

2. Asatizah/ Sector Data Management

3. Talent Development

4. Unit Administration

[What you will be working on]

**Sector Manpower Planning & Research**
- Drive manpower planning efforts including the design and implementation of asatizah manpower planning studies and recommendations
- Identify growth areas and work with prospective employers to pilot new roles for asatizah

**Asatizah / Sector Data Management**
- Oversee management of asatizah/sector data to support policy making and operations including the Asatizah Recognition Scheme (ARS), the Continuing Professional Education (CPE) and the Postgraduate Certificate in Islam in Contemporary Societies (PCICS)
- Develop and enhance systems to facilitate data collection, analysis and reporting of asatizah/sector outcomes

**Talent Development**
- Supervise the development and implementation of asatizah talent development programmes including the Syed Isa Semait Scholarship
- Lead secretariat for Talent Development panels

**Unit Administration**
- Oversee funding and resource needs of the strategic unit
- Develop staff and continually improve unit processes

[What we are looking for]

**Requirements**:

- Tertiary education in any discipline, preferably in HR or Training and Development
- At least 3 years experience in heading a department
- Strong background in managing talent development programmes
- 3-5 years experience in designing data collection tools and analysis, conducting qualitative and quantitative research
- Strong interest in Asatizah Development, Adult Learning, and developments in Socio-Religious sector
- Strong project management skills
- Dynamic Team Leader with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
