As a global organisation, with an increasingly agile workforce, we're happy to consider flexible working arrangements.- Our Opportunity- Function as the Head of Finance Operations for the Singapore P&C Business reporting into the CFO with responsibility for all Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable deliverables including plan, coordinate and monitor tasks/activities to meet operational targets delivering a high quality and cost effective service.- Your role- Manages the day to day performance of the Finance Operations functions: Collection, Reconciliation, Cash Application, Invoicing, payments and expense reimbursements.
- Ensuring processes are accurate and timely processing of Treasury and Payments in line with service requirements of the business.
- Oversees the collection and reconciliation of premiums and non-premiums, invoices or applies cash in order to maximize free cash flow
- Oversees the verification, allocation and payment of vendor invoices generated from purchase orders and invoices - Processes expense reports and reimbursements - Responds to customer and vendor inquiries
- Oversees the invoicing process for intercompany transactions and resolves related issues or queries
- Ensures that the correct accounting processes take place to facilitate accurate and timely Reporting on a monthly basis.
- Key entry of information into systems as assigned General Ledger Account Reconciliation - Prepares, reconciles, and maintains general and subsidiary ledgers
- Manage Zurich’s external operational banking supplier relationships to ensure service standards are met and costs controlled.
- Job Functions- Support projects, working closely with others to deliver added value to the business and stakeholders. Promote a positive customer perception and take a proactive role in improving efficiency.
- Translate business objectives into clearly defined business cases, costs or schedules in order to support financial performance in Finance Operations
- Preparation of operational plans and/or contingency plans. Plans, coordinates and controls specific tasks, including resourcing requirements.
- Support and maintain SLA’s
- Act as Internal Control Framework process responsible for defined activities, ensuring a compliant and control environment is delivered
- Liaise with internal/external audit in area of responsibility to ensure Group/Industry standards are maintained.
- Leading two teams with responsibility for all aspects of team management and professional development.
- Your Skills and ExperienceAs our Head of Finance Operations, your skills and qualifications will ideally include:

- Bachelor degree (Accounting, finance or business preferred) and/or relevant professional qualifications in the field of accounting
- Minimum 7 years of experience in related field
- Excellent communication skills in both oral and written
- Strong knowledge in General Insurance business and product
- Extremely high analytical skills in financial analysis
- Excellent computer technical skills with proficiency including excel and SAP
- Strong critical thinking abilities
- Demonstrates positive and flexible approach to a changing environment
