The Billing Operations Coordinator handles processing of customer accounts, develops work plans, organises materials and data, and leads project teams for special work requests within the Telecom Operations department. Ensures these projects are processed in a timely, accurate and efficient manner according to company standards and contractual agreements. This position is responsible for maintaining high levels of quality, productivity and relationship with the client population.

**PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES**:

- Use company systems to manage monthly processing of billing accounts and invoices for assigned clients.
- Assist in the accurate and efficient processing of customer accounts by:

- Overseeing implementation of new accounts assigned to the Operations team(s).
- Coordinating account changes with Account Managers and Analysts including, but not limited to, hierarchy changes/additions, accrual implementations, client troubleshooting.
- Identifying procedures or system changes to increase departmental processing efficiency.
- Maintain ownership of client help desk tickets with assistance of customer service support representative in accordance with published procedures.
- Support new clients during transition period from implementation to steady-state operations.
- Provide ongoing client support through client meetings and training.
- Provide internal company interface coordination, engaging Operations teams in US, UK and local Singapore colleagues and other Department heads (in US, UK and Singapore) in the areas of reporting, payment resolution, Telecom account exceptions, etc.
- Maintain behaviour and work standards that foster teamwork and cooperation within and outside the department.
- Accept and complete special projects as assigned by management.

**KNOWLEDGE AND MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS**:

- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Works with mínimal supervision and shows initiative.
- Effective communication skills including excellent listening skills and the ability to communicate professionally with all levels of staff both verbally and in writing; team-spirited.
- Self-motivated, proactive and well organised.
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field or equivalent experience plus 1-2 years’ experience in accounts payable, billing or general ledger role, or
- At least 2 years’ experience in an industry with comparable characteristics as Cass, and some college level business courses or equivalent experience.
- Willingness to periodically travel to the United States.
