Marine Executive

To perform as a key member in the Ben Line Integrated Logistics (BLIL) Marine Department. This role acts as the frontline of operations and is usually the person bridging BLIL and the customer.

  • Act as the main point of contact for the customer throughout a vessel call or project duration.
  • Responsible for arranging & coordinating work activities in Singapore with vendors and authorities.
  • Attend Pre-Ops meetings with customers, vendors & authorities if required.
  • To apply for and obtain necessary permissions / permits / approvals prior commencement of operations.
  • To monitor the customers cost outlay throughout project duration & alert management if the credit limit has exceeded the contracted terms allocated.
  • To work closely with BL various departments to ensure smooth operations and in sync with vessel operations.
  • Provide management with updated activity reports for work activities which took place under assigned customer accounts.
  • Upon work completion, provides administration with completed activity report for all work activities undertaken during customers stay. Must verify & ensure all vendor or authority invoices received include job numbers & costs are aligned with rates sold to the customer.

Requirements

Qualification

  • Preferably to hold a diploma in business or engineering field.

Experience

  • Preferably to have minimal 1 years experience in the maritime industry.

Skills

  • Disciplined, Self-Motivated, Initiative Team player, Good organize

Knowledge

  • DigitalPort, ICA formalities, Knowledge of Singapore waters and boundaries
