**Responsibilities**
- Lead the compliance team for the APAC region
- Maintain and refine the regulatory framework, advise internal stakeholders on compliance with relevant laws & policies, e.g., anti-bribery, anti-corruption, harassment, discrimination, and conflicts of interest
- Develop & deploy educational resources to aid in business ethics and compliance education and training
- Strengthen internal controls & be a resource for other control functions in the company
- Implement best practices for employment, and ethics and compliance programs
- Refine company policies and procedures and engage with stakeholders to confirm usability
- Oversee the company’s audit processes and manage responses to external audits
- Ensure independent contractors and vendors are aware of compliance requirements
- Draft reports and create presentations on compliance metrics to regional stakeholders
- Reviews and approves marketing materials
- Trains staff on compliance and internal quality assurance processes
- Further build out, refine and improve whistleblowing hotline and case management system
- Respond to and resolve internal disputes before complaints or lawsuits are filed
- Lead internal investigations in response to reports of possible violations of law or policy
- Keeping abreast of any changes in law

**Qualifications**
- Ideally a Bachelor’s degree and professional-level training in the compliance & ethics field
- Around 5 years or more of experience drafting policies, procedures and in building robust compliance programs
- Able to work with ambiguity effectively as well as analyse and breakdown complex issues
- Strong writing and communications skills
- Experience working with senior-level executives and big personalities advising on complex matters
- A strong moral code and understanding of ethics
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to engage a wide range of stakeholders and cultures
