**[What the role is]**

**[What you will be working on]**

You and your team will be responsible for the following:

- Lead a team of analysts and provide mentorship in statistical analysis, data visualisation, and interpretation in the context of environmental public health.
- Lead the development and implementation of analytics strategies to enhance vector control operations through evidence-based decision-making and policy making.
- Lead continuous efforts to improve how data is processed, managed, presented and reported to help in operations planning and decision making.
- Guide the development of automated analytical solutions and dashboard maintenance that facilitate data interpretation and use for operations planning.
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to align analytical initiatives with organizational objectives.
- Spearhead the adoption of new analytical tools and technologies to enhance operational capabilities.
- Guide staff on budgeting, procurement and contract management matters.

**[What we are looking for]**

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role managing operational or strategic projects.
- Strong understanding of public health surveillance and analysis, particularly in vector-borne diseases would be an advantage.
- Strong background in project management, operations analysis, or related field
- Strategic thinking with ability to see the bigger picture while maintaining attention to detail.
- Proven track record in leading complex projects and driving organizational improvements through systematic analysis and evidence-based approaches.
- Familiar with the following tools and techniques would be an advantage
- Biostatistics and modelling
- Data visualization tools and techniques
- ArcGIS
- Python or R programming
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with ability to present complex data to various audiences
- Able to work under pressure and handle crisis situations.
- Willing to respond to emergency situations outside office hours
