1. Role Description:
This position plan develop implement and evaluate training and development programs to ensure management and staff acquire the skills and develop the competencies required by organisations to meet organisational objectives. He/she also ensures that the daily operations of the company run smoothly and develops company policies rules and goals.
2. Specific Responsibilities:
- Assess suitability of knowledge management systems, technologies and tools
- Maintain knowledge management system infrastructure
- Develop knowledge management processes and policies which mitigate information life cycle risks
- Implement processes to manage intellectual capital
- Communicate knowledge sharing policies and processes across the organisation
- Assess effectiveness of knowledge management systems
- Evaluate organisation compliance with knowledge management policies and processes
- Incorporate user feedback on knowledge management systems and processes
- Propose improvements to knowledge management processes
- Promote knowledge sharing practices and culture across the organisation
- Establish rationale for learning experience evaluations based on organisational considerations
- Identify appropriate evaluation models and approaches
- Develop learning experience evaluation plans
- Analyse data collected to determine effectiveness of learning experiences
- Review learning experiences across the all learning activities
- Present evaluation findings to relevant stakeholders
- Determine gaps and improvement areas across all learning activities
- Being able to provide a holistic approach to education to encourage holistic development and learning
- Provide guidance on the use of performance management tools and resources available
- Engage employees in understanding their roles and responsibilities in performance management
- Monitor adherence to performance management requirements
- Train line managers on the appropriate mind set and behaviours in conducting performance reviews
- Develop review systems for obtaining feedback related to performance management systems
- Manage grievances related to performance management for junior employees
- Review trends on the impact of performance management programmes on businesses
- Recommend refinements to performance management programmes based on industry best practices
- Develop learning calendar for programmes based on manpower and resource considerations
- Manage venues, logistics and resources across organisation’s programmes
- Manage vendors providing services
- Provide support to stakeholders involved in the delivery of programmes
- Develop learning effectiveness feedback forms and tools
- Analyse learning effectiveness reports
- Recommend improvement actions for programmes to relevant internal stakeholders
- Identify funding opportunities available for programmes
- Revise programme administration processes to enhance learning experiences
- Analyse budget utilisation of programmes
- Identify key business objectives and strategic priorities that drive organisational growth
- Establish the organisation's vision, mission, and values
- Champion the integration of the organisation's vision, mission and values across all processes
- Develop operational processes which align with regulatory and industry standards
- Provide leadership, direction and governance to team leads
- Lead and integrate cross-functional projects and initiatives
- Resolve escalated operational and performance issues
- Determine key performance indicators to track and monitor the efficiency of operational processes
- Evaluate operational processes and impact on service delivery
- Spearhead improvements to operational processes
- Lead the implementation of operational changes
