We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an Assistant Vice President, Actuarial Services (IFRS17). In this role you will Lead and perform valuation reporting and business planning on IFRS17 basis Explain valuation result to senior stakeholders within the organization Ensure timely completion of valuation analysis and valuation controls Oversight model development and model risk policy compliance Provide guidance to junior colleagues To be successful you will need Newly/Nearly Qualified Actuary from a recognized Actuarial examination body Relevant Actuarial experience, with some experience in life valuation is preferred Solid technical (with Prophet and Asset Liability Stochastic (ALS) knowledge are preferred), analytical and problem-solving skills Good communication skills, both written and spoken Ability to work independently and under pressure Opening up a world of opportunity http://www.hsbc.com/careers HSBC is committed to building a culture where all employees are valued, respected and opinions count.
