We are eager to welcome highly motivated and analytical individuals to join our APAC Management Trainee Program. This 18-month program offers exciting and rich Coaching & Mentoring, Training, On-Job immersion and project experience in the dynamic areas of Marketing, Merchandising, E-Commerce, Retail, Key Account Management and other Corporate Functions.

What you will experience in the Program...

The APAC Management Trainee program will commence with 6-month immersion with various functions of the business, before branching out into the different commercial tracks (below) over the following months. You will have the opportunity to develop and drive merchandising plans, create digital marketing strategies, lead e-commerce campaigns, and conduct category planning.

1. Merchandising

2. Develop merchandising plans, analyse customer buying patterns, and manage inventory level

3. Capture local/regional growth opportunities through Product Creation

4. Conduct market analysis and drive product placement

5. Marketing

6. Lead the team in conducting marketing analysis, and develop marketing strategy upon it

7. Create and execute a cohesive brand communication plan.

8. Oversee and coordinate media partnerships and collaborations

9. E-Commerce

10. Lead digital marketing campaigns

11. Lead the team on conducting analysis on consumer digital behaviour trends

12. Oversee and manage designated ecommerce platforms

13. Brand Planning

14. Conduct Marketplace, Category and Omni-Channel Planning

15. Drive effective inventory management

16. Manage retail buying

17. Key Account Management

18. Develop and implement distributor sales strategies

19. Drive business performance of distributors
20. Conduct comprehensive competitor and market analysis and research.

The Program will conclude with a Business Project where you will be presenting to the APAC leaders of VF. Upon the Program wrap-up, you will kick start your career journey at VF. Are you ready to seize this transformative opportunity?

The ideal profile

We are keen to have someone who is excited about challenges, desires an experience in sports retail, and aspires to take on managerial roles with potential regional posting opportunities.

Requirements, Attributes & Skills for Success:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree from a recognized university
• A fresh graduate or early career talent (possess a maximum of 1 year of experience or less)
• Possesses a Growth Mindset and Learning Agility – always curious to learn and explore, eager to be stretched for growth and progression
• Has an Ownership Mindset – own the business goals, go all-in to deliver results through designing and driving the strategy, motivating and leading the team to deliver
• Is deeply analytical and questions assumptions and thinks out of the box
• Has a keen interest in sports retail and fashion
• Excellent in written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Proficiency in Power BI, Tableau or other similar data analytics tools is desirable but not a must
