Overview:

My client in Singapore is looking for a
Service Delivery manager -AMS (Application Support and Vendor Management
) to join their team. This role is suited for someone who has experience managing vendors, working with internal users, and has some understanding of Java applications. You do not need to code, but you should be able to read Java code and understand how the systems work.

In this role, you will work closely with vendors and internal teams to make sure day-to-day application support runs smoothly. You will help onboard vendors, ensure they meet agreed service levels, and make sure their reports and work are reviewed properly. You will also prepare regular updates for the internal team based on vendor performance.

You will support business users by answering their questions, understanding their needs, and helping them with issues or changes related to the applications. You will also keep track of contracts to make sure support continues without any gaps. On top of regular support, you will also manage small system changes and updates, making sure they are delivered on time and meet quality standards.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you should have at least 5 years of experience in application support and vendor management, and at least 2 years of experience handling small projects or system changes.

You should be able to read Java code and have a good understanding of technologies such as Weblogic, Tomcat, SpringBoot, Unix scripting, and databases like Oracle and SQL Server.

Experience with tools like Maven and Jenkins will be helpful.

Understanding ITIL processes for handling issues and changes is also important, and certification is a plus.

This role is a good fit for someone who enjoys working with different teams, solving problems, and making sure systems continue to support the business effectively.
