Executive (Finance Transformation – Production)

Location: City Hall

Contract: 6 months (extendable based on performance & business needs)

Salary: $15 – $18 per hour

Working Hours:

  • Monday – Thursday: 9:00am – 6:30pm
  • Friday: 9:00am – 6:00pm

About the Role

Join the Finance Transformation Team and work closely with the System Security and Finance functional teams. This role supports system usage, configurations, and access while ensuring smooth finance operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support audit log reviews for central system users and vendors.
  • Monitor settlement runs, manage rejected payments, and liaise with agencies for corrective actions.
  • Assist with document migration into ServiceNow Knowledge Management.
  • Support migration of brainstorms into the new Workday Ideation Hub.
  • Update system setups and create new budget plans per agency for year-end.
  • Assist in ad-hoc change requests and participate in Workday release testing.
  • Handle service requests from agencies within SLA, e.g., static data maintenance.
  • Track and report weekly on Change Requests, Service Requests, and Incident Requests.
  • Maintain and update Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) documentation.

Requirements

  • Degree/Diploma in Accounting, Business, Finance, or IT.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; VBA knowledge is an advantage.
  • Basic understanding of finance/payroll processes; experience in system implementation or maintenance is preferred.
  • Strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Good time management with ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Meticulous, independent, and a strong team player.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
