Cat Care Specialist

About the Role

As a Cat Care Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being, comfort, and safety of the cats under our care. You will be responsible for handling, feeding, monitoring health and behavior, and providing a calm and stress-free environment for every feline guest or customer. This role requires someone who is attentive, patient, and genuinely passionate about cats.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide daily care for cats including feeding, cleaning, and monitoring overall well-being
• Handle cats gently and confidently, minimizing stress during care
• Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic environment in all cat related areas
• Observe and report any signs of discomfort or unusual behavior
• Assist with checking in and out of cats, ensuring proper documentation
• Educate pet parents on basic feline care, grooming needs and behavior
• Support the team in managing supplies and maintaining cleanliness in the work area
• Assist in groomers during grooming session whenever required
• Uphold all safety, animal welfare, and company guidelines at all times

Requirements

• Passion for animal care, especially cats
• Prior experience in animal handling, pet care, grooming or shelter work preferred
• Comfortable working with cats of all breeds, temperaments, and health conditions
• Strong attention to detail and observational skills
• Patient, compassionate, and calm under pressure
• Able to commit weekends and public holidays
• A geniune LOVE for animals and a commitment to their well-being
