Cat Care Specialist

**About the Role**

As a Cat Care Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being, comfort, and safety of the cats under our care. You will be responsible for handling, feeding, monitoring health and behavior, and providing a calm and stress-free environment for every feline guest or customer. This role requires someone who is attentive, patient, and genuinely passionate about cats.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide daily care for cats including feeding, cleaning, and monitoring overall well-being
- Handle cats gently and confidently, minimizing stress during care
- Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic environment in all cat related areas
- Observe and report any signs of discomfort or unusual behavior
- Assist with checking in and out of cats, ensuring proper documentation
- Educate pet parents on basic feline care, grooming needs and behavior
- Support the team in managing supplies and maintaining cleanliness in the work area
- Assist in groomers during grooming session whenever required
- Uphold all safety, animal welfare, and company guidelines at all times

**Requirements**:

- Passion for animal care, especially cats
- Prior experience in animal handling, pet care, grooming or shelter work preferred
- Comfortable working with cats of all breeds, temperaments, and health conditions
- Strong attention to detail and observational skills
- Patient, compassionate, and calm under pressure
- Able to commit weekends and public holidays
- A geniune LOVE for animals and a commitment to their well-being
