Our client is a global Japanese manufacturing company that offers a variety of products and services. Due to business expansion, they are currently seeking a Business Development Manager (Building Material) who will be in charge of driving sales activities targeting architects, interior designers, and developers (key decision-makers in the selection of building materials).
【What you will be working on】
- Engage with architects, interior designers, and developers to identify and secure new business opportunities related to building materials
- Leverage existing relationships and industry knowledge to influence and provide specifications for construction projects
- Develop and maintain strong networks within the architectural and design community in Singapore and Malaysia
- Work to ensure our products are specified in key upcoming construction projects
- Collaborate with internal teams to provide product-related solutions to clients

(Must)
- At least 5 years of experience in new business development targeting key decision-makers in architecture firms, interior designers, and developers who are involved in selecting building materials
- Strong connection with architects and interior designers, and their community in Singapore and Malaysia
- Fluent in English in order to communicate with counterparts
- Technically oriented; Familiarity with tender procedures
