As a Executive, Financial Control, you will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to support accurate and timely month-end closing in accordance with organisation policies
  • Ensure statutory reporting and audit requirements are met, and that financials comply with the latest IFRS standards
  • Processing purchase requisitions and purchase orders
  • Leading fixed asset management activities such as:
  • Conducting fixed asset verification exercises to ensure accuracy of asset records and full compliance with internal policies and accounting standards
  • Building strong working relationships with asset custodians and advising on proper asset stewardship
  • Monitoring asset movements, write-offs and disposals to support accurate financial reporting
  • Overseeing operating expenditure, including reviewing payables and accruals
  • Review and analyse financial reports and data
  • Support the implementation of new systems and process enhancements
  • Promote and maintain high standards of corporate governance by working closely with internal and external auditors, and ensuring timely follow-up on audit findings

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Accountancy, Business or related Finance discipline
  • 1 – 2 years of relevant experience
  • Prior experience in the healthcare sector or with SAP will be advantageous
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel (advanced functions), VBA Macros, PowerPoint and Word
