About the role

As our Financial Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations and ensuring the integrity of the company's financial reporting. This is a full-time position that offers the opportunity to play a strategic role in the growth and success of our organisation.

What you'll be doing

  • Manage the full accounting cycle, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial statement preparation
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and accounting standards
  • Prepare and analyse financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to support informed decision-making
  • Oversee the implementation and maintenance of financial systems and controls
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and recommendations
  • Supervise and mentor the finance team, fostering a positive and productive work environment
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of financial strategies to support the company's overall objectives

What we're looking for

  • At least 8 years of experience in a similar financial controller or senior finance role, preferably within the Accounting industry
  • Strong understanding of financial accounting, reporting, and compliance requirements
  • Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Proven leadership abilities and the ability to manage a team effectively
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, and a recognised accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CIMA)
