Financial Controller

Job Summary:

The Financial Controller will be responsible to oversee and manage the full spectrum of finance, accounting, tax and planning activities in the Company. The incumbent is to provide progressive and coordinated Finance and Accounting support to specified units. He / She is to develop and implement strategic Finance and Accounting initiatives and transformation projects as a FC function, for achieving company business objectives.

Job Responsibilities:

• Serve as a strategic business partner to the senior leadership team through financial and management planning, information analysis, and recommendations;
• Assess and evaluate financial performance of the Gallery with regards to its long- term operational goals, budgets, and forecasts, and provide insights and recommendations to meet both short-term and long-term objectives;
• Be a champion of operational excellence by seeking a thorough understanding of the company's operations, identifying gaps in processes, mapping out best practices, influencing charges as deemed necessary to move towards a high performing organization;
• Be part of the executive management team and participate in pivotal decisions as they relate to strategic initiatives and operational models for the company;
• All other duties as assigned from time to time.

Job Requirements:

• Chartered Accountant / ACCA or its equivalent;
• Minimum 10 years of relevant working experience;
• Strong leadership traits and analytical skills;
• Independent, resourceful, meticulous and a good team player;
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment;
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
• Excellent Mandarin and English communication skills required for interaction with staff and stakeholders.
