We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller (Advisor) to provide strategic financial oversight and FP&A guidance across our Asia operations in the oil & gas sector. This part-time role focuses on reviewing financial performance, ensuring compliance, and supporting decision-making for regional leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for accuracy and compliance with IFRS/local GAAP.
  • Drive FP&A advisory: budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and management reporting to guide business decisions.
  • Offer insights on operational efficiency, cost control, and investment planning for the Asia region.
  • Support ad-hoc financial projects, including new energy initiatives, expansions, or acquisitions.

Talent Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; professional qualification (CPA, CA, ACCA)
  • 8-15 years of finance experience, with strong FP&A exposure; oil & gas preferred.
  • Solid understanding of accounting standards, taxation, and regulatory requirements across Asia.
  • Proven ability to provide strategic financial guidance and influence senior management.
  • Skilled in using SAP
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; able to work independently and provide actionable advice.
