Location: East Singapore | Up to $5,300/month | 5 days work week

Join a leading Singapore-based engineering firm delivering precision cooling solutions for data centres and high-performance computing environments. They are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Assistant Finance Manager to join their expanding team and contribute significantly to enhancing the finance function.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily accounting operations and lead the Accounts team.
  • Manage the full set of accounts, including AP/AR, bank reconciliations, and month-end closing.
  • Prepare financial statements, reports, and GST submissions.
  • Coordinate with auditors, tax agents, and the corporate secretary on compliance matters.
  • Strengthen internal controls and improve financial processes.
  • Provide financial insights to support management decisions.
  • Lead the implementation of the new QuickBooks system.
  • Handle ad-hoc duties assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • At least 8 years of experience handling a full set of accounts, ideally in a project-based or equipment installation environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop an accounting team.
  • Solid knowledge of SFRS and local tax requirements, including GST and Corporate Tax.
  • Proficient in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Hands-on, detail-focused, and proactive in resolving issues.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English.
