Job Description

You will report to Head, Group Risk Management and be part of the Risk Management team that drives the implementation of group-wide risk framework, strengths risk governance and supports risk assessment and reporting across CapitaLand group.

Responsibilities

  • Support implementation of Enterprise Risk Management programmes, including annual Risk & Control Self-Assessment  exercises.
  • Facilitate the collection, reporting and monitoring of Key Risk Indicators
  • Prepare risk reports, dashboards and presentations for senior management and Board committees.
  • Evaluate risks of new investment proposals across various asset classes and fund strategies
  • Perform financial analysis, including support in the WACC/hurdle rate computations
  • Benchmark risk management policies and practices against regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Contribute to digitalization initiatives and enhancements to risk systems and processes.
  • Collaborate with business units to ensure compliance with risk management policies and practices.
  • Drive risk awareness through trainings and communication initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business, Finance or Real Estate
  • With 1-2 years of relevant experience in finance, investment, or risk-related roles, with exposure to financial and non-financial risk methodologies and tools.
  • Strong financial analysis , with experience in project finance, cash flow modelling,  basic option pricing, and CAPM.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with proven ability to engage and influence stakeholder.
  • Possess positive learning attitude, proactive, detail-oriented team player with strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and project management abilities.
