Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and highly driven Resident Surveyor to join our team and lead HDB BTO construction projects from planning to successful completion. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience with HDB projects and a solid understanding of local regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct land and engineering surveys for construction projects, including site boundaries and land titles.
  • Perform surveys, establish demarcations, and provide accurate guidance for construction activities.
  • Review and compute pre-calculations prior to setting out for field surveyors.
  • Verify the accuracy and reliability of survey data, measurements, and calculations.
  • Ensure that construction works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings and specifications.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, and relevant authorities on technical and survey-related matters.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies between construction drawings and actual site conditions.
  • Prepare and update technical drawings, including layouts, elevations, and detailed schematics.

  • Provide advice and drawing modifications to suit site conditions under the guidance of Engineers.

  • Role Requirements:

    • Diploma/Degree in Land Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field and be a registered Member of SISV.
    • Relevant experience in land or construction surveying (experience in HDB BTO projects will be an advantage).
    • Proficient in survey instruments and relevant software (e.g., Total Station, AutoCAD).
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
    • Effective communication and coordination skills to work with site teams and stakeholders.
