We're Hiring: Quantity Surveyor (Interior Design Industry)

Location: KB-1, Kaki Bukit

Working Hours: Monday to Friday: 8:00am – 5:30pm; Saturday: 8:00am – 12:30pm

Working Days: 5.5 days/week

Salary: $3,800-$5,500 (depends on exp)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare tender documents, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities, and related paperwork.
  • Preparing and analyzing costing for tenders.
  • Prepare and submit interim progress and variation claims.
  • Oversee the procurements of contractors and suppliers.
  • Negotiate and manage contracts with subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Monitor and control project costs to stay within budget.
  • Review contract documents and identify discrepancies.
  • Attend site meetings and address client requests or feedback promptly.
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills and work effectively in a team.
  • Perform other ad-hoc tasks assigned by the superior to support project completion.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3-4 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor, in the interior design/interior fit-out/residential/commercial/renovation industry in Singapore.
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field
  • Proven track record in managing the financial aspects of interior design projects
  • Proven experience in strong cost analysis, cost control, and cost planning.
  • Good knowledge and experience in tendering commercial/industrial/retail interior fitting out /residential projects.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Project/Planner.
  • Excellent understanding of materials, methods, and cost estimating techniques
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify cost-saving opportunities
  • Familiarity with local regulations, building codes, and industry standards

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills to liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers
