About the role

We are looking for a motivated and organized Shipping Assistant to join our dynamic team in the Mandai Estate North Region. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our import/export and customs operations, ensuring the efficient and timely delivery of goods to our clients.

What you'll be doing

  1. Preparing and processing shipping documents such as bills of lading, invoices, and customs declarations
  2. Coordinating with carriers, freight forwarders, and customs authorities to ensure the smooth clearance of goods
  3. Tracking shipment status and providing updates to client
  4. Providing general administrative support to the logistics team as needed

What we're looking for

  1. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with various stakeholders
  2. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills to ensure accurate and timely processing of documentation
  3. Familiarity with import/export procedures and customs regulations, preferably with prior experience in a similar role
  4. Proficient in using relevant logistics software and computer applications
  5. A team player with the flexibility to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
