Job Summary (12 months contract)

  • Checking and inputting of treaty accounts received from cedants and brokers.

  • Checking and inputting of claim advice received from cedants and brokers.

  • Reconciliation of settlement statement and initiate settlement/remittance from cedants and brokers.

  • Assist in underwriting matter for underwriters as and when requested.

  • Prepare and/or check clips, cover notes, correspondence, treaty wordings and other records.

  • Assist in ad-hoc project or ICS related matters when requested by Team Lead.

  • This will be a 12 months contract with a potential to be extended or converted to a permanent position

Key duties and responsibilities

  • Input of treaty technical conditions, managing the new & renewal process on timely basis.
  • Keying and checking of quarterly statement of accounts (SOA), including completion of accounts, reserves, and various calculations (commissions, portfolios, cash calls, etc.).
  • Ensuring MNDPs are booked and follow up on premium adjustment at year end.
  • Booking of claims after review of claims documents from cedants, subject to SCOR policy on referrals.
  • Reconciliation of settlement statement and initiate settlement/remittance with cedants and brokers.
  • Follow up on due SOA, claim status and aged balances.
  • Monitor and maintain essential treaty information, revision of Original EGPIs and L/Rs after informing underwriters and obtaining their confirmation.
  • Liaising with various stakeholders such as IT, Claims, Pricing, Closing, and Underwriting teams.
  • Indexing and archiving document to DMS system.
  • Provide support to management in handling queries from auditors, senior management and others.
  • Perform sanction screening on specific cedants/insureds when required.
  • Assist in ad-hoc project or ICS related matters when requested by Team Lead.

Experience:

  • Preferably practical experience in the insurance/reinsurance industry
