
Engineering Admin Assistant

Job Description
- Follow-up remedy work on equipment that shows abnormal and to do record filing.
- Daily check and record on all mechanical and electrical equipment and data submitted by shift operation for any abnormality.
- Ensuring that the preventive maintenance program is set and follow up on schedule accordingly and to prepare monthly corporate report
- Check with subordinates/rank and file on the programme schedule, PM and that all equipment are cover throughout the year cycle on maintenance.
- Carry out monthly check on engineering spare parts inventory and their usage.
- Put up all necessary purchase request on time to avoid equipment breakdown and store related items.
- Keep all building drawings in place and technical specification of equipment are kept proper for future reference.
- Ensure internal training programme is laid down by the Engineering trainer on certain programme that is relevant to the department and update training attendance (e.g. Safety in Electrical, Basic Air-Conditioning & Fire Protection System).
- Assist to provide information for the preparation of Maintenance & Energy Cost as well as CAPEX Budget. Prepare and monitor project progress payment and update capex status
- HR management and update system on rank & file staff annual leaves, off in lieu, medical certificate, public holiday, staff rostering and duties.
- Update system on requisition and purchasing order, delivery order and tax invoices record.
- Take engineering minutes notes from time to time when needed.
- Any ad-hoc duties as assigned by superior
Job Specification
- Tertiary Education in Engineering preferred
- Excellent interpersonal, leadership and supervision skills
- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Business Studies/Administration/Management or equivalent.
- At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position
