Position Summary
Based in the regional headquarters for Southeast Asia & Oceania, this technical consultant is responsible for providing consultative technical advice and integral support to secure / ensure the seamless implementation of large scale/complex enterprise projects in the Southeast Asia & Oceania region.
Role and Responsibilities- Support Samsung subsidiaries in understanding and creating opportunities with Samsung Software Solution Product and other B2B Solution Product (such as MagicINFO/ Lynk Cloud) in Southeast Asia & Oceania- Provide consultative pre-sales technical support for the development and implementation of complex solutions focused on driving Samsung's suite of enterprise offerings.-
  • Provide detailed specification comparisons against competitors and enable internal sales team on

Points of Concept (POC)

  • Use in-depth industry and product knowledge to provide technical expertise to sales teams and end customers via sales presentations and product demonstrations
  • Assist sales teams and partners with on-site troubleshooting and technical assistance during project implementation phase
  • Conduct periodical training sessions for customers and partners
  • Create regular (pre-sales) reporting using existing Samsung tools
Skills and Qualifications
- Degree/Diploma in computer science, engineering or equivalent
- At least 6 or more years of work experience in pre-sales and technical support for IT products and services with preferably strong technical knowledge and hands on experience
- Personnel who can provide solution consulting based on experience and understanding of software development
- Proven technology knowledge of IT concepts, understanding of Samsung products, basic solutions and technical requirements
- A background in thin client or network solution (CISCO, HP, etc.) would be preferred
- RMS (Remote Management System) for Cloud solution
- CMS (Contents Management System), PMS (Property management System) software solution knowledge for Hospitality industry.
- Software Solution and System Integration experience.
- Good network in Digital Signage and/or thin client industry
- Team player, ability to collaborate effectively in an international, multi-cultural environment
- Able to work and deliver in a fast paced environment
- C/C#, HTML, JavaScript, Open API skills preferred
