Position Summary
Based in the regional headquarters for Southeast Asia & Oceania, this presales consultant is responsible for supporting the sales of LED display products (outdoor LED & indoor LED) by leading and managing LED projects, providing consultative technical advice to Samsung subsidiaries as well as partners and customers in the region.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Provide technical consulting and support to subsidiary, system integrators and customer; participates in sale and project management as well as design review meeting.
  • Participate in customer engagement and presales activities to work on specification, design, implementation, testing, system integrator/customer training, and deployment duties relating to site survey, during/after project implementation and etc.
  • Support subsidiary during/after LED project implementation phase, by ensuring our solution/recommendation is sustainable and when necessary provides recommendation on workaround solution.
  • Carry out technical-related activities and respond to incident, escalations, and maintenance-related activities in a professional manner.
  • Communicate and provides hands-on technical assistance to subsidiary, system integrators, customer and prospects of the company.
  • Create regular reports using existing Samsung tools.
  • Regular traveling throughout Southeast Asia
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree qualification with knowledge in Mechanical/ Structural/ Electrical Engineering
- Has ability to understand technical drawing and make recommendations
- Technical background with IT skills; AutoCAD & other drawing/ design platform skills is highly preferred
- Understanding of business models in LED display industry, digital signage and/or display industry is preferred
- Knowledgeable in circuit and connectivity (LED module wiring), able to address configuration and compatibility issue within or across devices
- High proficiency in MS Office suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
- Good people skills, presentation skills and proactive personality
- Good spoken & written English; proficiency in another Southeast Asian language is a plus
