About the role

As a Contract Finance Officer at ComfortDelGro Engineering Pte Ltd, you will play a crucial role in the company's financial operations. Reporting to the Finance team, you will be responsible for providing financial accounting and reporting support on a contract basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to apply your expertise in a dynamic and innovative environment.

What you'll be doing

  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records for accounts payable, including Journal entries, Invoice recording and credit notes management

  • Assist with the month-end and year-end closing process, ensuring timely and compliant financial reporting for accounts payable

  • Perform vendor reconciliations

  • Exchange rate posting activities

  • Support the preparation of financial statements, supplier onboarding and banking forms

  • Attend to Internal & External audit queries

  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of Accounts payable financial processes and control

  • Any other ad-hoc related duties

What we're looking for

  • Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in financial accounting and reporting

  • Strong understanding of financial statements, accounts payable and journal entries

  • Proficient in using financial software and Microsoft Office applications such as SAP ECC / S4HANA

  • Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills and ability to meet tight deadlines

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
