We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Contract Finance Officer to join our team at ComfortDelGro Engineering Pte Ltd. This contract role is based in Braddell, within the Central Region, and will play a vital part in supporting our financial accounting and reporting functions.

What you'll be doing

  • Prepare, review and analyze financial statements, including including posting of journal entries, stock aging report

  • Follow up with operations on overdue invoices and payment discrepancies

  • Reconcile accounts and maintain accurate financial records

  • Perform periodic asset and inventory check and witness to disposal of approved obsolete inventory

  • Support the month-end and year-end close processes

  • Assist with internal and external audits

  • Contribute to the implementation of financial controls and procedures

  • Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as required

What we're looking for

  • Relevant degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field

  • 3-5 years of experience in a financial accounting or reporting role, preferably in the engineering or transportation industry

  • Proficiency in financial reporting software and MS Office applications, particularly Excel

  • Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

  • Hands on experience with SAP ECC / S4HANA will be an advantage
