Job Description & Requirements
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and courteous manner.
- Ensure dining table settings are neatly arranged and properly set before service.
- Prepare and serve Chinese tea; regularly refill condiments such as vinegar, soy sauce, salt, and pepper.
- Clear used dishes and clean utensils efficiently during and after service.
- Dry and store clean plates, bowls, teapots, cups, and cutlery appropriately.
- Sanitize and bleach teapots, cups, glasses, and cutlery to maintain hygiene standards.
- Clean lazy susans (rotating trays) and ensure they are free of stains or food residue.
- Remove food particles from tablecloths before sending them for laundry.
- Count and track linens before sending them for washing.
- Perform food checking duties on a rotational basis to ensure order accuracy before serving.
Those with more years of experience will be considered for the position of Captain / Assistant Captain.
To ensure and create a positive experience, you will need to be able to converse in both simple English and Mandarin as you will be required to communicate with Mandarin-speaking customers.
