We are looking for a reliable and hardworking kitchen staff member to join our team. You will support daily kitchen operations to ensure food is prepared, cooked, and presented to a high standard. The role requires teamwork, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in food preparation and cooking according to the menu and recipes
  • Ensure all food is prepared to the highest quality and hygiene standards
  • Support chefs with mise en place (ingredients preparation) and plating
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, storage, and equipment
  • Wash and sanitize utensils, dishes, and kitchen tools as needed
  • Follow food safety and hygiene regulations (e.g., proper storage, labeling, FIFO)
  • Assist with stock receiving, storage, and inventory control
  • Work as part of the kitchen team to ensure smooth service during busy hours
  • Carry out other duties assigned by the Head Chef or Manager

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a kitchen, café, or restaurant preferred (not mandatory for junior roles)
  • Basic knowledge of food preparation and hygiene practices
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Physically fit to handle standing, lifting, and kitchen tasks

Working Conditions
