Assistant Finance Manager

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Assistant Finance Manager / Accountant to manage the full spectrum of accounting and finance functions. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge, leadership capabilities, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Independently manage the full set of accounts, corporate income tax computations and GST returns in accordance with statutory requirements;
  • Handle general ledger postings, payment postings, monthly schedules, and review bank reconciliations;
  • Handle intercompany billing processes and maintain accurate records of related transactions;

  • Prepare annual group consolidation reports for simple group structures;

  • Support the preparation of budgets as required and assist in financial planning initiatives;

  • Contribute to cash flow forecasting and credit control activities to support b;usiness sustainability;
  • Attend to audit, ensuring timely issuance of Accountant's Reports;
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to finance team members to promote efficiency and accuracy in financial operations;
  • Handle other ad-hoc analysis and tasks that may be assigned by the Finance Manager.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree in Accountancy or ACCA qualification. Newly qualified Chartered Accountants (CA) are welcome to apply;
  • Prior experience in the legal industry is highly advantageous;
  • Solid understanding of Singapore tax regulations (corporate income tax and GST), along with applicable accounting standards and principles;
  • Savvy with MS Advanced Excel;
  • Meticulous, detail-oriented, and able to work independently under pressure;
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities;
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the maturity and leadership capabilities to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
