Role : Assist PM to oversee daily operations, including workforce scheduling, site coordination and client communication.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Coordination
Assist the Project Manager in planning, executing, and monitoring project activities.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project progress.
- Track project schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
Documentation & Reporting
Prepare project reports, meeting minutes, and progress updates.
- Assist in managing project correspondence, drawings, and technical submissions.
- Ensure proper filing and documentation for compliance and audits.
Cost & Procurement Support
Assist in budget tracking and cost control.
- Help prepare quotations, purchase orders, and variation orders.
- Liaise with vendors and suppliers for timely delivery of materials.
Site Management Support
Monitor site progress and provide feedback to the Project Manager.
- Coordinate site activities with subcontractors and ensure work is carried out according to plan.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure quality and safety compliance.
Stakeholder Communication
Liaise with clients, consultants, and relevant authorities on project matters.
- Support the Project Manager in handling meetings and presentations.
- Follow up on action items and ensure timely closure.
Quality, Safety & Compliance
Support the enforcement of workplace safety and health requirements.
- Ensure works comply with specifications, standards, and regulations.
- Assist in resolving technical or operational issues on site.
Administrative & Team Support
Provide day-to-day administrative support to the project team.
- Assist in manpower planning and coordination.
- Support in monitoring project risks and issues.
Key Requirements:
· Minimum Diploma in Construction Management or Civil/Structural Engineer
· Proven certifications and experience in similar role in the construction industry with strong understanding of scaffolding systems, safety protocols and construction processes is advantageous.
· Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
· Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
· Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
· Knowledge of industry regulations and best practices
Proficiency in project management
