Production & Quality Control:

  • Supervising and coordinating the daily activities of the bakery staff.
  • Ensuring the quality, consistency, and presentation of baked goods.
  • Developing and testing new recipes.
  • Maintaining and updating recipes, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and quality standards.
  • Managing inventory of ingredients and placing orders to prevent shortages.
  • Monitoring product costing and pricing, ensuring profitability.
  • Overseeing and managing the production schedule to meet sales and operational targets.
  • Must have experience in Pastry Baking also

Staff Management:

  • Hiring, training, and supervising bakery staff.
  • Creating staff schedules and managing payroll.
  • Fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Conducting staff evaluations and providing feedback.
  • Addressing employee performance issues and implementing corrective actions.

Customer Service & Sales:

  • Maintaining high standards of customer service.
  • Handling customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback.
  • Developing marketing strategies to promote the bakery and its products.
  • Monitoring sales and adjusting production levels accordingly.
  • Analyzing sales figures and forecasting future sales.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring adherence to health, safety, and food safety regulations.
  • Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the bakery.
  • Managing the bakery's budget and financial performance.
  • Coordinating with suppliers and vendors.
  • Overseeing special projects and initiatives as assigned.
