What You'll Do
As a
Business Development Manager
, you will play a key role in expanding the platform's reach across APAC by connecting with fund managers, wealth managers, and family offices who would benefit from tailored financial solutions. You will design and execute business development strategies aimed at growing pipelines, diversifying revenue streams, and capturing new market segments. Internally, you'll collaborate on marketing campaigns and lead generation initiatives; externally, you'll represent the firm at industry events while staying ahead of market trends to ensure competitiveness.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities with fund managers, wealth managers, and family offices across APAC.
- Leverage industry knowledge to deliver customized solutions that drive collaboration opportunities.
- Build and manage a robust revenue pipeline by diversifying opportunities across client segments.
- Execute business development plans through consistent outreach—calls, meetings, follow-ups—and achieve sales goals through effective growth strategies.
- Represent the firm at conferences and networking events to enhance visibility and build relationships.
- Collaborate with internal teams on campaigns and event strategies that drive brand awareness.
- Stay informed about regulatory developments and market trends to maintain competitiveness.
- Act as a trusted brand ambassador in all client interactions.
What You Bring
To excel in this role, you bring solid business development or campaign management experience within the corporate finance or wealth services sector. Ideally supported by a degree in finance or business administration, you have hands-on expertise with alternative funds, structured products, and an understanding of relevant regulatory frameworks.
- 8 years of experience in business development, product management, or campaign management within financial services or related industries.
- Strong knowledge of alternative funds, structured products, and regional regulatory frameworks (e.g., licensing requirements).
- Degree in finance, business administration, or related field preferred but not mandatory.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with strong organizational skills; ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within teams.
