Responsibilities:

Vendor Management

  • Assign projects to suitable vendors based on needs and capabilities
  • Monitor vendor performance and ensure they meet KPIs and contracts
  • Evaluate and grade vendors regularly based on price and service
  • Maintain strong vendor relationships for long-term partnerships
  • Review vendor rebates and incentive programs
  • Conduct post-project reviews for key projects
  • Expand the vendor pool to ensure good quality and pricing options

Procurement Oversight

  • Track and manage Purchase Orders (POs)
  • Monitor subcontracting amounts to stay within targets
  • Negotiate better pricing and terms with vendors
  • Ensure procurement follows company policies and budget

Performance Monitoring

  • Review vendor performance regularly and give feedback
  • Track deliverables and key milestones
  • Lead or support vendor review meetings

Planning & Coordination

  • Manage event calendars and logistics
  • Coordinate internal and vendor resources
  • Plan ahead to avoid delays or shortages
  • Distribute projects fairly among preferred vendors

Reporting & Analysis

  • Prepare reports on vendor performance, costs, and compliance
  • Analyze data to find savings and improve processes

Sourcing & Negotiation

  • Research and identify new vendors
  • Negotiate for better value and terms
  • Ensure quality while keeping costs reasonable

Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree in Business Administration or relevant discipline
  • 5 - 8 years of experience in vendor management and procurement
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
