JOB PURPOSE & DESCRIPTION

a) Lead, train and manage the maintenance team to provide response to system failures and identify root causes of system malfunctions.

b) Plan and coordinate daily scheduled and ad-hoc maintenance activities.

c) Test, evaluate and provide technical support for products, systems or solutions.

d) Handle technical related inquiries, troubleshoot and find resolutions for technical problems.

e) Propose and implement initiatives to improve service efficiency and overall productivity of the department.

f) Acquire new competencies, monitor system performance and continual improvement of the technical service operation and processes.

g) Prepare documentation, reports and presentations related to maintenance activities for review by management.

h) Ensure all maintenance activities and systems are in compliance with relevant safety regulations and standards.

i) Manage and sustain an inventory level of spare parts that aligns with the business requirements.

a) System Performance: Effectively manage all operations, ensuring high system uptime and minimal technical failures.

b) Preventive Maintenance: Implement proactive maintenance to reduce unscheduled downtime.

c) Team Management: Support the professional growth of the team by providing coaching, mentorship and access to skill-building opportunities.

d) Vendor Management: Manage vendors and stakeholders for quality service and cost control.

e) Cost Optimization: Control costs and optimize budget for system maintenance.

f) Safety and Customer Satisfaction: Ensure safety and regulatory compliance, quick issue resolution for high customer satisfaction.

g) Improvements and Innovation: Continuously enhance system performance and integrate new technologies.

JOB HOLDER'S REQUIREMENT

a) Qualifications

i. Degree or Diploma in Electronic, Electrical Engineering or a closely related technical discipline.

ii. Minimum of 8 years of working experience in engineering related field with at least 4 years in a managerial position.

iii. Fluency in Mandarin due to collaboration with Chinese counterparts.

b) Experience/Skill/Knowledge/Competencies

i. Proven ability to provide on-site technical assistance, analytical mindset to resolve complex service issues.

ii. Strong in technical troubleshooting with working knowledge of ELV systems such as CCTV, Access Control or Parking System.

iii. Working knowledge and experience in Network Switch, AP, Router configuration is an added advantage.

iv. Knowledge of industry standards, regulations and quality management systems.

v. Ability to multitask and prioritize in a dynamic environment.

vi. Good decision making and problem-solving skills, able to fulfill tasks with minimum supervision.

vii. Customer focused with good verbal and written communication skills.

viii. Proficient in Microsoft Office and willing to learn technologies
