Technical Project Manager
Our client is a technology solutions provider company. They are currently seeking for Technical Project Manager.
The role of the Technical Project Manager includes:
- Manage projects arising from existing accounts typically involve enhancements, upgrades, or modifications to current systems or infrastructure. These may include A&A works, system expansions, feature enhancements, or integration with new technologies, within defined scope and budget.
- Plan, manage, and implement preventive and corrective maintenance activities in line with budget and agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Ensure all systems remain reliable, maintainable, and compliant with contractual obligations, technical specifications and applicable codes of practice.
- Drive obsolescence management initiatives, including timely upgrades and proper documentation of all system modifications.
- Submit accurate and complete monthly maintenance reports and billing in a timely manner.
- Attend scheduled maintenance meetings with customers to review performance, address concerns, and uphold quality standards.
- Ensure all maintenance practices and deliverables align with the company's QMS.
- Prepare project and maintenance proposals, compliance submissions, and manpower estimates to support tender participation.
- Manage change requests process effectively while balancing user requirements and operational constraints.
- Provide regular progress updates and communicate needs, goals and milestones clearly to internal stakeholders and customers.
- Work closely with principals to provide presales support and implement solutions that meet client expectations.
- Consolidate and optimize staff deployment across teams to maximize efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and profitability
- Provide guidance to ensure consistent work quality and adherence to organizational standards.
- Ensure compliance with the Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Act and other regulatory requirements.
- Enforce proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), timely incident reporting, and proactive risk management.
- Establish site-specific procedures, enforce safety rules, and cultivate a strong "safety-first" culture among staff.
- Manage, coach, and develop a team of technical support engineers and technicians, ensuring adequate training and competency.
- Supervise sub-contractors to maintain professional standards of work.
- Communicate KPIs and performance expectations clearly to team members.
- Prepare annual maintenance budgets, forecasts, and CapEx proposals; monitor expenditures to ensure financial compliance and profitability.
- Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by reporting manager.
Job Requirement:
- Minimum Degree qualification in a technical discipline
- At least 10 years of relevant experience in project management, particularly in environments involving multiple sub-services and diverse stakeholder.
