The Role

Join our vibrant team at Meating Place, a popular restaurant in the heart of Bugis in the Central Region. As a Waiter/Waitress, you will play a crucial role in delivering an exceptional dining experience to our customers. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and contribute to the success of our establishment.

What You'll Be Doing

  1. Greet and welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner
  2. Provide outstanding table service, including taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring customer satisfaction
  3. Maintain a thorough knowledge of our menu, daily specials, and ingredients to assist customers with their selections
  4. Ensure the dining area is clean, well-stocked, and inviting at all times
  5. Handle cash and card payments accurately and efficiently
  6. Communicate effectively with the kitchen team to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment
  7. Assist with side duties such as restocking, cleaning, and light food preparation as required

What We're Looking For

  1. Previous experience as a Waiter/Waitress, preferably in a restaurant or hospitality setting
  2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly and customer-focused attitude
  3. Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with other front-of-house and kitchen staff
  4. Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  5. Enthusiastic and passionate about providing exceptional customer service
  6. Knowledge of food and beverage service, including basic food safety and hygiene practices
