Accounting & Tax Executive/Assistant Manager

About the role

This position supports our Singapore Office (the Shared Service Center) and its subsidiaries in Asia.

What you'll be doing

  • Assist in the preparation of monthly and annual adjusting entries, including accruals, prepaids etc.
  • Support in month-end and year-end closing activities
  • Manage corporate tax compliance processes in assigned APAC countries
  • Handle monthly GST and WHT submission, tax planning and ensure proper tax filings in assigned countries
  • Assist in preparing Transfer Pricing documentation and support related ad-hoc regional projects
  • Coordinate audit-related matters, including preparation of schedules and responding to auditor queries for smooth sign-off
  • Ensure adherence to accounting and financial procedures, systems and compliance with relevant accounting standards
  • Oversee financial operations in Asian countries and auditing compliance with financial processes and internal controls

What we're looking for

  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Business (Finance, Accounting, Tax etc.)
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience
  • Experience in tax-related work preferred
  • Experience with SAP system preferred
  • Able to work independently & within strict time constraints
  • Willing to travel to other countries in Asia as needed
