**Role Purpose
As a part of the People Services team, this role leads and manages the functions of HR Information Systems, HR Operations and Projects relating to new system implementations, integrations, enhancements, data integrity, processes, record, and data management. Consequently, the role also manages daily activities of project implementations and HR operations involving various global and local HR systems, while consulting the HR community, business groups and various stakeholders. Other key responsibilities include meeting delivery timelines project and change request, HR data accuracy & security, compliance & governance, optimizing processes for data management, providing timely resolution managing requests, and leveraging technology where possible to improve administration efficiencies. Delivering reporting models for HR colleagues and providing a stable system, keeping the HR team apprised of all future enhancements and driving the development of system enhancements.
**Role Accountabilities**
HRIS & HR Operations Management
- Develop and iterate on the overall HR technology & HR Operational strategy, keeping current on new solutions to recommend and prioritize implementation that meets the current and future business needs.
- Develop, manage, and monitor effective and efficient delivery of HRIS & HR Operations initiatives and daily operations including managing the budget for such project initiatives, the implementation timelines and maintenance of completed projects.
- Oversees, maintains and improves the optimal function of the HRIS & HR Operations, which may include, customization, development, configuration, maintenance, upgrade to the systems, Success Factors system quarterly releases are systematically applied into UAT, test and move to production, manage SFTP integrations, ensuring the compliance & governance of permissions and processes are met, and the documentation of modifications.
- Manage the services of HRIS & HR Operation to ensure the delivering of services including to the larger HR stakeholders, manager and employees or management, report generation and analytics,
- Provide training and support for HRIS & HR Operations team, HR Stakeholders, users, internal partners (IT) and vendors to research, trouble shoot, resolve issues as needed. Provides technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance to HR teams as necessary.
Operational Excellence
- Collaborate with HR leads to identify needed improvements and enhancements to existing information services and databases; recommend and implement solutions.
- Work with relevant stakeholders to evaluate the change impacts & risk for systems, projects and updates in terms of the compliance and governance to laws, regulations & policies.
- Collaborate with People Operations to technologically enable and improve existing processes and procedures while enhancing the delivery of the HRIS function by aligning activities and initiatives.
- Work across other departments and group operating companies on continuous business and system process improvements to meet the desired business needs and efficiencies of the overall processes.
- Ensure that compliance & governance reviews are conducted to ensure that all compliance & governance requirements are met and issues are flagged with sufficient time to be addressed.
HRIS & HR Operations - Compliance & Governance
- Responsible for HRIS compliance and governance with all operating companies within the HRIS & HR Operations space. Work with relevant stakeholders to evaluate the change impacts & risk for systems, projects and updates in terms of the compliance and governance to laws, regulations & policies.
- Ensure that reviews are conducted twice a year in May and Nov to ensure that all compliance & governance requirements are met and issues are flagged with sufficient time to be addressed.
System Vendor Management
- Manage vendors and services providers including contract negotiation, overall delivery performance and outcome achievement, together with the People Services leadership.
- Main point of contact for 3rdparty vendor where HR system are concerned. Negotiation of addition scope of work for 3rd party vendor. Management and escalation of issues to 3rdparty vendor.
Safety
